President Elect gets the vote here but may have something to fear from Supermassive Muse. The selection hails from the in-form David Barron yard and made an encouraging return to action when finishing a close up fifth at Thirsk on his handicap bow. That run suggested that he can win from his current mark and he's entitled to have improved for the outing. Supermassive Muse is a little more exposed but he posted a decent effort on his return to action at Haydock and he would be a threat to all if building on that this afternoon but he was tried in both a tongue tie and blinkers last season; neither of which he sports here. Blue Jack has arguably been a shade disappointing on his two runs this season having returned a beaten favourite on both occasions but it's far too soon to be writing him off, particularly with his yard going well. He hasn't shown enough to get the vote though and we prefer President Elect.
