      Verdict

KIAN'S DELIGHT, the only three-year-old in the line-up, produced a shock when landing a Pontefract handicap last month. That was only the sixth start of his career and, with further progress likely, he is taken to follow up. Maslak was a long way behind that day but ran better at Windsor next time while Light The City and Master Nimbus were even further behind and look well held. Red Skipper looks the main threat despite poor form figures on the Flat as he won very easily over timber at Market Rasen in June. Ferney Boy has been racing over longer trips and has only been placed once in nine starts.
