      Verdict

      I Confess arrives on the back of four consecutive wins, but is worth taking on here with just a single victory in 30 starts on turf. Toto Skyllachy would figure if reproducing May's win at Carlisle but is too inconsistent to have much faith in and SHADOWTIME is the one to beat. He was winning for the fifth time at this track when scoring with a bit in hand over 7f here last time and, back over a more suitable trip today, he can follow-up. Bolodenka does his winning in plating company nowadays, Old English has gone off the boil on the Polytrack and this is his first start on turf, while the lightly-raced American Lover will need to step up on his previous form at this track.
