        Verdict

        GALPIN JUNIOR looks set for a return to winning ways. He hasn't won for over a year but has dropped to winning mark judged on his recent second over C&D. Well backed last time, Ruth Carr's charge gets the vote ahead of Hambleton. He went close again last time after scoring at Redcar in May, but is 9lb higher now and dropping back in trip. Bossy Kitty had Exceedingly Good a length behind here last month but has something to find with the selection on earlier running as do Kalahari Desert, Sleights Boy and Lady Lube Rye.
