In depth

Verdict

Clarinch Claymore, Astyanax and Nessen Dorma look the three to concentrate on in this staying trace and the vote goes to Astyanax. The selection was well beaten on his last run last season but he goes well fresh and with the yard now back amongst the winners he is taken to score under conditions that suit. Clarinch Claymore rates the main danger on his best form but he is best when their is more cut in the ground and for that reason he is opposed.Nessen Dorma is another worthy of respect he finished in mid division at Royal Ascot last time and this is much easier but he is far from consistent. Of the remainder Contact Dancer is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Astyanax.
