In depth
Verdict
Unknown Rebel was beaten a long way on his racecourse debut but was never far away in subsequent starts and got off the mark when beating a big field at Pontefract in October. There's probably more to come this season while Dark Dune's best effort came in a maiden here last July and the handicapper has given him a chance. Imaginary World ran a shocker on her latest start in February and she looks high in the weights while it's doubtful that Plattsburgh will ever justify his enormous price tag as he's looked ordinary so far. Bouggatti is no world beater but improved steadily in his first campaign and shouldn't need to have made much progress to take this though it's JEU DE VIVRE who gets the vote as though she hasn't shown much she makes her handicap debut from a lowly mark and will be suited by the step-up in trip.
