Verdict
DUBIOUS AFFAIR (NAP) is hardly a leading light for Sir Michael Stoute but the master trainer appears to have identified a strong opportunity for the lightly-raced son of Frankel on this handicap bow. Well beaten on all three starts, he has still shown sufficient ability to suggest a modest maiden handicap such as this is within his range. He should prove better suited to quicker conditions, too, than the testing terrain encountered the last twice. Forbidden Dance looks likely to appreciate the step up in trip but Vindolanda's efforts indicate that she could prove the main danger to the unexposed selection as she also has scope for further progression.
