        Verdict

        Tim Easterby introduces a couple of well bred juveniles here in Killerby Nicko and Bolshevik but the stable's youngsters normally need a run or two to put them right so it may pay to stick with those with racing experience with Sir Loin just preferred to Celtic Thunder. The last mentioned made the most of a favourable draw when a three-length fourth of 17 on his debut and failed to build on that effort when well held at Musselburgh subsequently. Sir Loin also made a promising debut in an auction maiden at Newcastle and stepped up on that effort when third in better company at Redcar on his next start. Nigel Tinkler's colt could hardly be better berthed than in stall 14 and he is taken to take advantage of the draw. Nafferton Girl has the best of the draw in stall 15 but Mick Easterby's two-year-olds normally improve with racing and he is probably best watched, while Trojan Flight from the back-to-form Lynda Ramsden yard is bred to appreciate further. Come What July faces a stiff task giving weight away all round and, with Jeremy Glover's newcomer Party Princess having been done few favours with the draw, Sir Loin looks worth the bet.
