Verdict
Jumhoor was never extended to open his account in maiden-company at Thirsk last month and, in a poor race, looks worth another chance in this grade with Aventura and Prince of Gold rated the main dangers. The selection is clearly one of his stable's lesser lights but had shown signs of ability prior to winning at Thirsk. His only previous effort in a handicap, at Lingfield, in May is probably best ignored as it came on a soft surface and, back on faster ground, Jumhoor looks the one to be on. Riska King has claims on the form he showed during the spring but has been below par of late, as has The Gambler. Top weight Aventura has to be respected but would probably prefer a softer surface and a bigger danger may be Prince Of Gold. A dual winner during the spring, the son of Polar Prince has been holding his form well in better company than this of late and will not be stopping at the end of this seven-furlong contest. However, Reg Hollinshead's colt has less scope than Jumhoor, who should prove to be too good for his rivals.
