In depth

Verdict

Nigel Tinkler has already enjoyed more winners this season than in any other year since he began training and ARCHIE PERKINS should give a good account for the yard here. Steadily progressive this term, the Arcano gelding only went down narrowly at Nottingham over 1m2f earlier this month and should not be inconvenienced by this drop in trip off a 2lb higher mark - Lewis Edmunds can hopefully can find a good early position from his wide draw. Cascella has also moved nicely into form over the season and should be a player in this follow-up attempt to her convincing Leicester success, although a 9lb rise does appear harsh. Power Sail's first success was a bolt from the blue but he's on a good mark to prove it was no fluke while others to note are Ganton Par and Dorcas.
