Verdict

VIGEE LE BRUN could hardly have won more easily at Ripon on Monday and a repeat performance from the Dark Angel filly would make her hard to beat, especially with David O'Meara having secured the services of the excellent Simon Walker. She faces similar conditions and is preferred to consistent course and distance winner Red Charmer and recent Newcastle scorer Billy Bond. The former, having a first run for his new yard, is preferred of the pair. The booking of Serena Brotherton for Make On Madam suggests connections mean business while the veteran Swiss Cross, facing the starter for the 129th time, and fairly-treated Arcane Dancer are also noted.
