      Verdict

Yorkshire Pirlo has been caught close home in his two starts, over 6f at Redcar and this trip at Musselburgh. This is a stiff 5f but he has an inside berth and looks certain to be there at the finish. However, COBWEB CORNER has the coveted rails position and led for a long way in an Ascot nursery over 6f on his penultimate start. He missed the break at York next time but, if getting away on terms, will take some catching. Pivoting will improve for his debut at Catterick while Aquamas was staying on at Ripon and will appreciate the stiffer track.
