    Verdict

    The race conditions don't suit Fairy Falcon, who would be receiving much more weight in a handicap. FINAL VENTURE hasn't won since a Listed contest at Haydock two years ago. That was on soft ground but he's only 2lb clear of Ornate on official ratings and the latter arrives in superb form having shown his rivals a clean pair of heels in the Epsom Dash where he led from start to finish. There's nothing between the pair though the selection might just favour the going.
