In depth

Verdict

Many of these are dropping down a grade but this looks wide-open with the draw likely to play a part. Dawn Breaking has the inside berth and a stiff mile is ideal for Richard Whitaker’s charge. Caballero is also well drawn and ran well at York last time but a case can also be made for KEEPUP KEVIN, who tends to run his best races here and has been slowly coming to hand. He is back on a winning mark and is another who has an excellent starting position. How Bizarre will probably run his race again and Stringybark Creek won off this mark at Kempton last year and has been running well this term without much reward. Zihaam is better drawn than stablemate Smeaton with Flying Dragon, Saisons D'Or and Helovaplan also worthy of a mention having slipped down the weights.
