    Verdict

    FREYJA will be at short odds to follow up her course and distance victory and though she had to battle to get the better of Afraid Of Nothing the remainder, including sixth-placed Al Jawhra, were well beaten. The latter, a sister to a Group 2 winner, should get much closer but the beautifully-bred Eventful finished a long way last at Thirsk. Samille is by Kodiac out of a mare who has produced winners with her first two foals to race.
