Verdict
Peace Offering, Hoh Mike and Fonthill Road look the three for the shortlist and the confident vote is given to Fonthill Road. Richard Fahey's 8-year-old ticks plenty of the right boxes here as he has won his last two races, he has won over the course and distance and he has proven form on testing ground. He looks to hold solid claims here and at the forecast odds he makes plenty of appeal. Peace Offering is a viable alternative as he won on soft ground at Nottingham last time when he beat Chief Editor. He looks to be on an upward curve and he could find the necessary improvement to win this. Hoh Mike has the ability to win this but he ran a stinker last time and the ground has gone against him. Look Busy has got course and distance winning form and she is proven on soft ground, but she is another who will have to be forgiven a below-par effort last time. A decent contest this and the vote goes to Fonthill Road.
