        Verdict

        Another wide open affair rounds off proceedings and the main protagonists look to be Libre, Rookwith, Acomb and Poppyline and we will take a chance on Rookwith. The gelding from the James Bethell yard was a fair fourth behind Masterpoint last time out and a reproduction of that form would make him hard to beat. Libre rates the main danger he has been in fair form of late but he ran as if the handicapper had caught up with him when fourth behind Temper Tantrum. Acomb could also go well he won well a couple of runs ago before appearing not to stay a longer trip last time out the drop in distance should suit and hen is another that has definite place claims. Poppyline is another that could go well but she gave the impression that a longer trip would suit when a never nearer fourth behind Indian Welcome on the AW last time out. Of the remainder Well Connected is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to side with Rookwith.
