Verdict
Some interesting newcomers in opposition with preference for Dawn Piper over Fremen and Realism with My Fas a possible danger. David Loder has made an excellent start to the campaign and the Newmarket handler can strike with Dawn Piper who makes plenty of appeal on breeding and this expensive Sheikh Mohammed-owned colt should lift this prize before making his mark in better company. Sir Michael Stoute saddles an interesting debutante in the shape of Fremen who should be noted in the exchanges while Mark Johnston landed a treble yesterday and the Middleham handler will expect a bold show from Realism. My Fas showed a useful level of ability in juvenile maidens last year and can reach the frame.
