In depth
Verdict
Cereus, will find this company more to his liking, but has no easy task under top weight. This faster ground will suit Addeyll, who should strip fitter for his run at Leicester. The Efisio colt, who finished runner-up to Western Verse on his debut last year, does not look overburdened and looks the one to beat. Tim Easterby has made a good start to the season and his Raphael will not mind the fast ground, but stable companion Tough Love, a beaten favourite last time, may have improved for that outing and can make his presence felt. Mazury, yet to encounter a fast surface, is at the right end of the handicap, and is open to improvement, while Ikenga, making her seasonal debut, could go close if fully wound up.
