Rex Romanorum's only win so far came in soft ground but Ted's Brother has decent claims having gone close at Thirsk last week and racing off the same mark today. A wide draw may not be too much of a hindrance for Powerful Pierre as he needs to be held up and he wasn't beaten that far over track and trip last time. JOYFUL SOUND made all over a mile at this track on his latest start. He's been raised 4lb but this is less competitive and Brian Ellison's charge is fancied to follow-up if allowed an easy time in front. Last Destination has plenty to find with the selection on latest running while Thrust Control and Dance For Georgie arrive out of form.
