    Verdict

An exceptionally modest affair with the majority of the sextet struggling for form. Panettone is very much a lesser light of the Varian team but does have a course and distance win to her name. However, subsequent efforts have been poor and much may depend on how she reacts to the re-application of blinkers. Steely landed a course and distance success just over a year ago and finally found some form last time after failing to beat a rival home in two previous starts. Similar comments are applicable to BEACON LADY but her latest run here when second to Highlife Dancer was a fair effort and a repeat performance would probably suffice.
