Sprinters in form are dangerous to ignore so there's every chance that Dorback can defy a 12lb penalty after making all to score twice in the space of three days. He now aims to register the hat-trick in less than a week and should go well despite the steadier of 10-4. On the book, Whitecrest, a course and distance winner, should handle the topweight on these terms but that was before Violet Jordan's charge struck form. He's a danger all the same whilst Monumental Man and Billy Red are arguably better on artificial surfaces. All of which leaves RED REFRACTION to take on his elders and the Hannon inmate continues to give a decent account although there must be reservations about him dropping to the minimum trip for the first time. He's a chance worth taking though with improvement likely, especially with his useful pilot claiming a valuable 5lb.
