        Verdict

        Bogart has the inside berth but hasn't won since 2013, though has been placed on numerous occasions including at Chelmsford last month. Acclaim The Nation won a maiden here in 2016 and has had very little racing subsequently, scoring at Doncaster on his reappearance a year ago. Raffle King is drawn on the inside but is still a maiden after a dozen starts. Ghayadh made a winning debut over the course and distance in July but that was on very fast going which he won't have here. The three-year-old Bahuta Acha scored at Catterick in September but this is a very much stiffer track so a speculative vote goes to GRANDAD'S WORLD. A high draw is normally the kiss of death here though when the ground is soft it often pays to be wide so Richard Fahey's charge, who ran well in better company without winning last term, can get back to winning ways.
