Verdict

Casa Tall made his UK debut in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham but never looked like making a winning start for Tom George and an official rating of 135 may overestimate his ability. CORNERSTONE LAD is a proving a tough and useful juvenile hurdler. He has won at Hexham and Catterick this season and has also run some sound races in defeat. He relishes soft ground and looks the one to beat. All-weather winner Akkadian Empire has shown little so far over hurdles but Imperial Nemesis may do better now having a few obstacles to negotiate.
