Verdict

Bahrikate was a 33/1 chance when landing this 12 months ago and is now 15lb higher, though was running well before the turn of the year and shouldn’t be far away if fully wound-up. MAIN FACT may be a few pounds too high but is still likely to give a good account if in the mood so is preferred to Musselburgh runner-up The Compeller, the pick of Lucinda Russell’s trio. Titus Bolt was behind the latter in that Musselburgh race but well treated nowadays. Mick The Poser and Pc Dixon have been consistent enough at a lower level but neither are blessed with much in the way of pace.
