Verdict

DOGGED is unpenalised for last week's victory in a Ripon apprentice handicap and can go in again. She had Hortzadar just under a length behind and the latter's rider dropped his whip which didn't help though the weights favour the winner. Ibiza Rocks made a promising debut for new connections at Wolverhampton but Golden Sands has gained all four victories to date on the all-weather. Temper Trap was in excellent form last summer, winning four times at around this trip, and drying ground will aid his cause while Crownthorpe has already won three times on the all-weather this year.
