        Verdict

        An inside berth is of paramount importance here unless the going is soft so Bosham and Mininggold, both course and distance winners, could do with more rain. Lexington Place has won a dozen times though he's never scored here and he's had a few chances but Musharriff loves the track. He was only fourth in this last year when a 6/4 chance and is 12lb lower despite being placed in five of his last six, including at Pontefract on Sunday. ELYSIAN FLYER has the coveted inside berth and though it's a while since he won he's taking a drop in class and ratings. He's on the same mark as when runner-up on soft ground at Ripon in April and will be fresher than most. The three-year-old Moonlit Sands won a seller here in May but this is tougher.
