Verdict
This is difficult and should develop into a tactical affair with a number of in-form, hold-up performers in opposition. George Baker delivered Lightning Spirit with typical dash to score here last time but Ned Curtis is in the plate now, presumably to offset the penalty for that success. Baker moves onto Lady Barastar who is extremely closely matched with Young Jackie on recent running, the latter clearly benefiting that day from the professional assistance of Tom Queally who takes the ride once again. However, BEACON LADY, another toting a 6lb penalty, is developing a real love affair with Brighton and sprinted impressively clear here last time under Nicole Nordblad. The combination reunite and can go in again in what is a fascinating little heat.
