Verdict

Blessed To Empress, who won a course and distance handicap here in May, scored with something in hand in an apprentices' race at Chelmsford on Saturday and escapes a penalty. She will make a bold bid to complete a quick double though DE LITTLE ENGINE beat her here in April and is much better off at the weights. He's run well here subsequently and looks the one to be on as though Seprani has been very consistent at this level she's had 11 starts since her last victory a year ago. Fieldsman looks best of Tony Carroll's pair though usually runs in amateurs' races.
