Verdict
The ease in grade should be enough to guarantee that Lotto goes well today and the daughter of Nicollette should have too much in hand of the lightly weighted Tictactoe, Smartstar Princess and Carolou's Court; despite a having to concede 5lb to each of those rivals on today's terms. Lotto ran a much better race than her finishing position would suggest when she finished eighth of thirteen runners at Lingfield last time and may just have found her first try at Seven furlongs a little testing in much better company than this. The return to six furlongs should see her in a much better light today and, as a previous course and distance winner, she is too difficult to oppose in this company. Costa Del Sol has run consistently well in selling grade but is already frustrating and cannot be recommended with more than tepid conviction for a place. Of the others, Carolou's Court has shown signs of improvement of late and is tipped to give Lotto the most to do.
