      Verdict

      A number of these arrive here with solid claims and not too many can be ruled out with any real confidence. However, Franksalot has held his form well this season and can make the most of this drop in grade today. Duo Leoni was a game winner at Catterick last month and will make life hard for the selection if he arrives here in the same mood today. However, his overall profile does suggest that he has a little to prove over this trip and he may have to settle for a minor role today. Poppyline will be dangerous to ignore and appeals as an each way alternative on these terms - whilst Second Of May is open to improvement and it will be interesting to note if forcing tactics are employed here. But Franksalot has plenty in his favour regarding, trip ground and jockey booking so can confidently be expected to make a bold bid for the money today.
