        In depth

        Verdict

        Plenty of C&D winners on show and MANDHOOMA can notch a seventh track success. Indeed, she hasn't won anywhere else and all six wins have been achieved by half a length or less which says much for her courage and determination in a finish. She was only beaten three-quarters of a length over a mile here last week and will appreciate the return to 7f.. Patavium Prince may need this after a break, Ivory Lace is consistent but exposed and a greater danger may come from the younger brigade at the foot of the handicap. Screenprint is a possible at best but ran no sort of race last time and is presumably dropped back in trip as a consequence. Therefore a bigger threat is posed by Cheylesmore, a fair third at Carlisle on Saturday, in a first-time visor and receiving weight all round.
