        Verdict

        Voltaic won over a shorter trip at Ffos Las and carries 5lb extra while Pitchcombe also step up in distance having gone close over 7f at Epsom. Doonbeg Farmer won over a mile at Lingfield before returning a beaten favourite off today’s mark while Marie Paradis returns to the Turf for her handicap debut. But BANNERGIRL (NAP) found only one too good despite running from out of the weights in a tougher contest at Newbury and Mark Gillard’s filly is fancied to finally open her account on that form.
