        Verdict

        Adace won over 7f here on her penultimate start and has switched yards having been beaten over today’s trip subsequently. Ascraeus scored off a similar mark at Salisbury during the summer and My Lady Claire has slipped back down the weights since last year’s double while HEDGING hasn’t won since landing this contest back in 2019. But the latter placed off an 8lb higher mark the last time he encountered soft ground and could be thereabouts at the finish in this.
