Lord Gizzmo made a bold attempt to make all the running in a similar contest to this at Epsom last month before having to settle for third place behind Flying Spirit and it may be the same result again here with Gary Moore's gelding given the vote. The selection has a fine record at switch-back tracks and although disappointing here last time that was over 1m2f and back over today's trip he looks worth a bet. With Gerard Butler's stable back among the winners, Bally Hall has to be respected but has yet to prove his effectiveness over today's trip. Top weight Most-Saucy has harshly gone up 8lb for his win at Epsom last time and now looks to be in the grip of the handicapper. Ampoule would have a chance on his best but Clive Brittain is still struggling to find the winners so a bigger danger to the selection may come from recent Doncaster winner Sualda, who makes the journey down south from Richard Fahey's stable. However, Flying Spirit has solid claims on a course that suits and backers should be ensured of a good run for their money.
