    Verdict

Scommettitrice bids for a five-timer and with three of his recent wins having come at this track, he should be in the mix once again. This is tougher, however, and the veteran OSIRIS WAY need only repeat his second at Bath last month to come out best in this lesser company. Interakt is also capable at this level but would prefer more cut in the ground while June's C&D winner Billy Red looks high enough in the weights now. Efistorm could sneak a place and makes more appeal than the returning Peter Island.
