Verdict
Ask The Guru won this back in 2017 but hasn’t scored on the Turf since while Monarch Maid returned a shock winner under today’s apprentice dropped back to the minimum trip at Thirsk a fortnight ago. Her rider can utilise her allowance on this occasion which negates a rise in the weights but KNOCKABOUT QUEEN still makes most appeal. The latter had slid down the weights before joining Tony Carroll last month and much better effort at Bath last time suggests she can score off her current mark. Hurricane Alert is best on the all-weather tracks and Toolatetodelegate is preferred of the remainder.
