Verdict

Another tough race here for punters with some unexposed sorts in opposition but the main protagonists look to be Captain Webb, Kayflaa and Benhavis and the vote is given to the unbeaten Captain Webb. The selection won well last time out when beating Ballachroy with plenty in hand. Granted he is rising in the weights but he again has conditions to suit and will be hard to beat. Kayflaa rates the main danger on her improved second behind Dancing Abbie last time out and will not be far away off her light weight. Benhavis won a maiden when last seen beating Carnival Queen but enters handicaps off what looks a high enough mark. Maximus Aurelius looks weighted up to his best and may need the run after a 188 day break and for the winner we return to the unexposed Captain Webb.
