Verdict
A wide open handicap in which Mister Clinton is taken to get the better of Ailicala, Thunderclap, It's Our Secret and Temper Tantrum. The latter is a course winner, having got the better of Mutabassir and Mister Clinton at the Sussex track 11 days ago. However, Dean Ivory's inmate is now fully 10lbs better of for the five lengths that separated them at the finish and will be fancied to turn the tables. The six-year-old is a familiar sight here and was a winner in maiden company on this card three years ago, after which he was gelded for being too frisky. Drawn in stall three, he gets the vote, with Ailincala expected to give him most to do. We would be more keen on course and distance winner It's Our Secret were it not for his long absence, while Thunderclap has a wide draw to overcome.
