Verdict
There is a large turnout for this moderate contest, but many can be discounted, so the short list is Flying Spirit, Noble Calling and Rojabaa, with the latter taken to score. Trained by Bill Turner, Rojabaa had shown little in the past, including on this card 12 months ago, until finishing second at Bath on his last engagement on the Flat. Fit from a spin over hurdles at Ludlow, he can make up for lost time to open his account. Flying Spirit ran second on the turf course at Southwell last time but was beaten by a rival rated 20lb inferior, while a wide draw may prove the downfall of Noble Calling.
