Verdict
This weak looking affair should be well within the compass of the experienced Costa Del Sol who can account for Mister Twister and Larad, who appears to be the best of Rod Millman's pair. Costa Del Sol has already had six outings, including a debut sixth of nine to Attraction no less. You would have though that on the strength of that, Dean Ivory could place him to win at least one in five subsequent starts. However, this keen, headstrong sort has not delivered the goods, despite being tried in blinkers and being plunged into selling company of late. We remain convinced though that the promise he showed on his Nottingham introduction will be fulfilled. Surely this contest is poor enough or him to come good at the expense of Mister Twister. Richard Hannon's stable is bursting at seams with winning juveniles and this son of Mind Games will be placed to join them judged on his effort in a slightly better race than this at York. Larad made his debut in the Brocklesby at Doncaster, took on fair company without being disgraced at Kempton, but then only beat one home in an 18 runner maiden at Salisbury. He is not on the upgrade then, while Far From Lulu has shown nothing in three starts so far. Costa Del Sol can finally come good.
