        Verdict

        This isn't a strong contest and Analyze, who has plenty in hand over his rivals on official ratings, should have little trouble getting back to winning ways. He has his optimum conditions here (10-furongs on fast ground), although he does need forgiving a poor effort at Yarmouth last time. He can be followed home by Gabor, who showed promise on fast ground over hurdles last year, and could prove to be a cheap claim in this for someone to have a bit of fun with jumping. Archirondel wasn't beaten far over course and distance earlier this month in quite a competitive handicap, but if this was a handicap, he would be receiving 14lbs of the selection. None of the others can be fancied on these these terms, so Analyze looks to have a straightforward task.
