In depth

Verdict

DE LITTLE ENGINE (NAP) was having only his second outing on Turf when scoring over track and trip with a bit to spare. He can defy a 3lb rise and confirm running with second-placed Blessed To Empress. The latter boosted the form by winning here at the start of the month and can also figure again but Perfect Symphony has plenty to find with the selection. Wilson is now back on a winning mark and drops back down a grade while a tongue-tie is added to Barritus as the latter goes handicapping for the first time with an apprentice’s allowance helping his cause.
