In depth

Verdict

Steelaninch makes plenty of appeal in this company after overcoming a touch of greenness to land the odds at Hamilton last week. His stable have an impressive 44% strike-rate with their two-year-olds this term and he can confidently be expected to build on his two outings so far. La Campanella and Easy Rider are closely matched on what they have achieved so far, and thus it would be no surprise to see Richard Hannon's newcomer, Simpkin pose the biggest threat on his debut run.
