Verdict
As is to be expected in a race of this nature punters are taking a huge risk with their stakes and it is not an event to go overboard about. Firework makes some appeal in this grade after understandably finding life tough in Class C company at Goodwood earlier in the week. However, he is a long standing maiden and cannot be supported with too much confidence. A problem rises in finding something to oppose him with and Thumper, Bergen and Chakra only just scrape onto the shortlist of alternatives.
