In depth

Verdict

Nothing is ruled out in a tight sprint. Typhoon Ten could probably do with coming down a few more pounds though, whereas DESERT LAND still looks well treated off a mark of 70, not to mention the valuable 5lb claim of the in-form Saffie Osborne. He is also the only member of the field boasting a course and distance win which strengthens confidence. Sir Oliver has claims if forgiven his last run, whilst Brunel Charm reverts to this trip for the first time since his 2019 debut. Latent Heat probably needed his reappearance run and Mamillius is in a consistent run of form and usually goes well here.
