Verdict

An interesting novice stakes with the vote is awarded to ORSERA despite the concession of weight all round. She made a good impression when scoring on her Leicester debut and was far from disgraced when fifth in Listed grade at Newmarket on her subsequent start. Her yard has made a pleasing start to the campaign too. Plenty of dangers are lurking though in the form of lightly-raced types representing strong stables. Killdeer is a likely improver but Romaana, fourth to the selection in that Leicester race, and Yayoon and Effervescence. both of whom have displayed promise to date, look likelier sorts to trouble the selection. Of the trio, Romaana makes most appeal.
