In depth

Verdict

A case can be made for all but it might be worth chancing SARANGOO off the bottom rung if she can reproduce her latest effort when bouncing right back to form at Kempton when a close second to Viola Park in competitive handicap company. She does step up in grade now but the veteran has gone well round here in the past and is a speculative choice in an open contest. Seprani was below par last time but previous performances suggest a strong run from the filly under Josephine Gordon, whilst Sayesse, Black Caesar and Good Luck Charm have all scored at this idiosyncratic venue and cannot be excluded from calculations. Mamillius was only runner-up in claiming company last time and Arctic Sea sports first-time blinkers.
