Verdict

Nothing is ruled out in a tricky finale but the top weight Bobby On The Beat is 0-13 on Turf. Wiley Post, Bear To Dream, the returning Lethal Angel and Major Gatsby are all previous course winners with the latter preferred of that quartet after a recent pipe-opener. It’s easy to put a line through THE PRINCES POET’s run at Windsor as he hates soft ground. He’s well treated nowadays being only a pound higher than when scoring on Polytrack in the autumn.
