In depth
Verdict
Another pretty modest contest and Dorn Hill is expected to go close, Best Game and Bold Pursuit are the obvious dangers. The selection is relatively lightly raced and comes here after finishing a promising fourth behind Dixieanna at Doncaster. That was only her fourth racecourse visit so improvement can be expected and she looks the best option. Best Game has at least managed a victory this season, landing a Musselburgh handicap off a mark of 56. He has struggled recently against better opposition but could be good enough for some place money here. Bold Pursuit is up against it on official ratings but may still be capable of getting into the action. Apart from recent winner Premier Times the rest make very little appeal and so it is not too difficult a task for Dorn Hill, who is a confident choice.
